Configure - this button opens the Audio MIDI Setup utility for the secondary source.
Mixed Levels - this displays the level of each source relative to the other.
Record - use this menu to set exactly what WireTap Studio will record. WireTap Studio can be set to record:
- Everything - with this option chosen everything from the source will be recorded, including silence.
- Auto Start/Stop - with this option chosen the session will begin recording when audio is detected from the source and stop recording when silence is detected.
- Trim All Silence - with this option chosen no silence from the source will be recorded.
When the Record menu is set to any trim option the Configure button will become active. Click on it to specify an audio level for silence and how long the source should be at that level to qualify as silence.
LivePreview - use this button to turn LivePreview on and off. With it on WireTap Studio will play the source audio as it would be recorded with the current settings. To monitor the source audio at its original quality with no encoding, option-click on the LivePreview button.
